In Japan, Otagei is a group of people that were fan of the japanese idol. Their goal is to cheer for their favorite idol in unique way such as group dancing and calling respond to the idol on stage. The otagei cultural have been spread to the many country around the world including Thailand. Unfortunately, the otagei doesn’t popular in Thailand since it’s overlooked, but still it’s the interesting hobby that worth preserved.

 

The goal of this project is to create the community that welcome to all otagei despite which idol group they like. This community will help them in term of becoming the meeting point for them in order to practice their skills, teach each other, trade their stuffs or goods and learn to become the real otagei.

Otagei คือกลุ่มชื่อเรียกแฟนคลับของเหล่าไอดอลญี่ปุ่น ซึ่งจะมีลักษณะเฉพาะที่มีเอกลักษณ์โดดเด่นออกมามาก และมีกิจกรรมที่แตกต่างจากกลุ่มแฟนคลับอื่นๆ เช่นการเต้น การตะโกนเชียร์ด้วยประโยคที่รับส่งกับไอดอลที่ทำการแสดงอยู่บนเวที ซึ่งในประเทศไทยเองก็ได้รับวัฒนธรรมนี้มาแล้วเช่นกัน แม้ว่าจะยังไม่เป็นที่รู้จักในคนหมู่มาก จึงอาจจะถูกมองข้ามได้ แต่การ Otagei ก็สามารถถือเป็นงานอดิเรกที่มีกิจกรรมน่าสนใจ

 

ผู้วิจัยจึงมีความเห็นว่าอยากจะสร้างองค์กรเพื่อเป็นศูนย์กลางการพบปะของกลุ่ม Otagei ที่ไม่จำกัดเป็นทีม แต่จะเป็นสถานที่ที่แม้ว่าจะมีความชื่นชอบต่างวงแต่มีความชื่นชอบไอดอลญี่ปุ่นและ Otagei เหมือนกัน สามารถมารวมตัวสลับสับเปลี่ยนหมุนเวียนได้ตลอดเวลาเพื่อให้สามารถสร้างผลงาน ศึกษาวิธีการ Otagei ต่างๆ รวมไปถึงพบปะเพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นหรือสิ่งของสะสมได้  ตลอดจนไปถึงการร่วมประยุกต์การเชียร์ให้พัฒนา
